Brother,
I am sorry it's taken me so long to get something to you for your birthday. I was afraid that as it got closer to June things would get so busy that we would start forgetting things like birthdays and anniversaries. Sadly, it seems that this is proving to be the case. I just want you to know that no matter what happens and how busy we get, I will never forget how much you mean to me and how glad I am that I was put into a room with you when I first arrived here.
The beads and comb are for you. The brush... I don't know if you have anything to brush your horse with, but every animal deserves some pampering, yes? Maybe it will cut down on the biting a little bit too...

I was so distracted with planning your wedding that I forgot my own birthday. Thanks for reminding me. And thanks for getting me such wonderful gifts. I'll have to make sure to get you something equally good for your birthday, though who knows what this place is gonna throw at us then.
I'll never forget how much you mean to me either. I've said this before, but you're the reason I'm still sane.
I guess it's time I finally groomed Liath Macha, huh? I'm almost afraid of what I'm gonna find in her mane.

You forgot as well? I guess we are both lucky that Asagi didn't...
I carved everything, so I hoped you would like it. I wanted something to help relax me a little that wasn't patrolling or training. I saw the knives and the wood on the workshop floor one day and thought...why not? Carving is relaxing.
We...have kept each other sane more times than I can count. I hope we will continue to be able to keep each other together as things get nearer to June. It's not going to be easy, but that is why we have each other and the rest of our family.
Good luck with your grooming... I hope you don't find anything too interesting in that mane...

It seems you have talent in carving as well. You should teach me a bit about makin those find details.
